About Dozer
Meet Dozer! Dozer is a sweet boy who loves being close to his people. He's incredibly people-oriented, enjoys a cuddle, and will happily lean in for pats whenever he gets the chance. His love language is giving gentle smooches and kisses, and he's always keen to remind his favourite people just how much he adores them. He's also a clever cookie who already knows several basic cues and is eager to learn, especially when tasty treats are involved!
Dozer enjoys getting out and about for walks where he can explore and sniff, and he'll thrive with a family who can continue his training and provide plenty of enrichment. He can be a little unsure of unfamiliar people at first, but with gentle introductions and positive experiences, he settles well.
Dozer would love to be the only dog in the home where he can soak up all the attention. He would also thrive in an adult or teen home. If you're looking for a loyal, loving companion who will be your biggest fan, Dozer could be the perfect match.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Peninsula site, adoption hours are 12pm – 4pm. You are welcome to attend our reception office without an appointment to begin our adoption process during adoption hours.
The adoption areas are not free to walk through, and you will need to chat with our staff to confirm that a potential adoption is a good match.
Once the adoption has been discussed, a staff member will facilitate a walk-through of the adoption areas or have an animal brought to you in a greeting area.
