✨🐣 EASTER ADOPTION FEE SPECIAL 🐣✨
💙🌿 PRESENTING SPIKE 🌿💙
Spike by name but definitely not by nature.
Nature
Spike is a very calm and easy-going kitty but can be quite shy and takes a while to feel confident in a new place. He would suit a quieter household and will take a bit of time to get to know you, however your patience will be rewarded as once he trusts you, he gives you wonderful cuddles and purrs.
Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
Spike currently lives with other cats and a large, calm dog in his current foster home. He likes cats and interacts well with them. He would like to have cats in his new home as long as the introductions are done properly and slowly.
He is wary of the dog so would only suit a dog home if the dog was chilled and left him alone. Spike isn’t a fan of the noisy tiny human, so he would be best suited to older children who could calmly give him lots of love and fuss.
Likes / Dislikes
Spike is very chilled; he likes sitting in the sun by a window watching the world go by but will sometimes have a burst of energy and play with his toys. He enjoys his food and will let you know when it's dinner time! He uses his litter tray perfectly and has never had an accident. He can chat to you if he is hungry or hasn’t seen you for a few hours!
He is a little wary around new people and loud noises scare him so he will need a safe space in his new home while he adjusts until he feels brave enough to start exploring and making himself at home.
He came into care with his collar trapped under his front leg which had caused a deep wound. He required surgery and rehab to close the wound and this has now healed well, but it was quite traumatic for him and so he now hates the sounds of bells (no toys with bells in), he can’t wear a collar, he must strictly be an inside cat only, and he doesn’t like too many pats around his shoulder and arm area.
My PURR-fect home would be a calm and quiet one where I can relax and take my time to get to know you. Furry cat friends would be nice but not essential, and no loud or young children please.
