About Zac
Zac is a big...and we mean big...pure bred German Shepherd boy looking for his forever home.
He is an active, healthy 4 year old.
Zac was initially rehomed due to his owner going in to care.
He knows basic manners but true to his breed, he can be a bit stubborn at times.
He is in obedience and socialisation training and will need that to continue in his new home, whether by yourself or at a training centre.
He is learning very quick of course, so with the right person there should be no trouble.
**Breed experience is a must**
Zac is friendly but can be mouthy, we are not sure why, but again he is unlearning that as we speak. For this reason and the fact that he is quite excitable, we do suggest no small children.
Unfortunately at this stage, until he has a "master" and has learned some manners and social skills, he may not be suitable to go to a home with other animals. He does not bite or attack other dogs, he is just quite intimidating and does rush at them, so introductions will need to be slow and well managed.
Zac may be suitable for work, cases may vary.
He is a fantastic guard dog.
He does not appear to have separation anxieties or mind being on his own.
Aside from all that, he is one of the most stunning Shepherds we have ever seen. His stance is tough, his bark is loud, his coat...immaculate. He is one handsome boy. And he knows it!
Prior to adoption he will be desexed, chipped, vaccinated and had a dental if needed.
No known health ailments.
Adoption details
All animals come with a 7 day trial period (this is negotiable depending on case by case differences, and will be discussed accordingly with anyone having queries)
After this time, and knowing that both the family and pet are happy together, the adoption will be finalized.
If an animal is to be returned for whatever reason during this 7 day period, a 10% (of the adoption fee) administration fee will be taken out of the refund. Animals returned after this time, unfortunately forfeit the adoption price.
We are mostly located in Jimboomba on the outskirts of logan, around 30-45 mins south of Brisbane, although some animals can be in care throughout the greater Brisbane region.
