About Gus
Introducing Gus, one of the best things about this boy is his loyalty and friendliness. He's a true people-pleaser, always aiming to make you smile. Gus' playful nature is perfectly balanced by his gentle side. Gus is obedient and knows commands suchs as sit, stay, lay down and leave it. He has a very kind heart and will always be there for you.
Gus thrives on attention and loves nothing more than basking in the warmth of your affection. He's a true cuddle bug who will lean against you and give you full-body cuddles. Wherever you go, Gus will be right by your side, eager to join in on any adventure.
Gus has a variety of favourite things that light up his day. He adores the thrill of a never-ending game of fetch, and his tail wags with joy as he retrieves the ball time after time. When it's time to wind down, Gus enjoys snuggling up in his bed or curling up next to his loved ones. He's also a big fan of swimming and going for walkies.
Gus is searching for his perfect match, and here's what that entails. He would do best in a home with adults only, where the atmosphere is calm and supportive. Gus requires a full-time access indoors, with the option to go outside. You should be prepared to do a slow transition, gradually building up Gus' confidence in your home. Patience, understanding, and a dedicated routine will reward you with his unconditional love and friendship.
Medical notes
Gus has been experiencing anxiety due to recent changes in his routine, particularly with the arrival of a new baby. He can be sensitive to loud noises such as jets and fireworks, and storms can cause him distress. Because Gus is feeling anxious around the new baby, his owners have made the heartbreaking decision to find a better suited home for him where he can thrive.

Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s owner - the person who knows them best!
It’s a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
From here, the owner will be in touch with you to chat a bit more about their pet, and if they feel your home is the best fit, they will arrange a ‘meet and greet’ for you all to get to know each other.
Should this prove successful, arrangements will be made for the pet to move straight from its current home into yours upon payment of the adoption fee.
The adoption fee is paid directly to PetRescue (via a secure payment link), and assists us to continue to run and develop programs to assist pet owners, just like Home2Home.
Change of Ownership paperwork will be completed, vetwork history will be provided and your new family member will be snuggled on your couch in no time!
