Nala & Brutus

Meet Nala and Brutus. Nala is a female Staffordshire Terrier 3.5 years old. Brutus is a male Boxer mix 2 years old. They were a regretful surrender to the Shelter this week. The owner had contacted us months ago and had very personal genuine reasons to surrender them. She then placed them in Tallowood Boarding Kennels for the past 7 weeks and unfortunately the situation has not improved and they now need new homes. It is extremely difficult to rehome a bonded pair of adult medium-large breed dogs but we still try for a week and than attempt to separate if need be. Brutus was originally named Buster and adopted from us in October 2021. He is quite an anxious dog away from Nala. They have been kenneled together, eating and sleeping together for months. They may be ok separated with constant human interaction or another dog. They are both dog social, love the beach, have good recall and great with kids. They have not been around cats. They are both desexed, Nala has a full vaccination history and Brutus had his booster today. They are lovely dogs and staff at Tallowood also vouch for them. Adoption fee is $408 together.
