About Buttons
đž Meet Buttons: The Sweetest Cat in Need of a Loving Home! đ
Buttons, a resilient survivor, has had quite a journey in life.
This adorable feline was discovered malnourished and seeking shelter under a verandah during a terrible storm. Fortunately, a kind-hearted elderly woman took him in, providing a safe and loving home for several years.
Sadly, due to unforeseen circumstances, she had to undergo major surgery and was no longer able to care for Buttons. Now, Buttons is seeking a new forever home, filled with love and care.
At approximately 8 years old, Buttons has blossomed into the sweetest and most loving boy you could ever meet. He adores chin rubs and cuddles, and his purrs will melt your heart. You'll often find him basking in the warmth of the sun or nestled cozily in (or under!) his comfy bed. He has a fondness for treats and will eagerly accept them with a gentle, grateful spirit.
Buttons is patiently waiting to find his perfect match, someone who will appreciate his gentle nature and shower him with the affection he deserves. If you're seeking a furry companion who will greet you with purrs and unconditional love, Buttons is the perfect fit for you.
If you're ready to open your heart and home to this lovable boy, please consider adopting Buttons. Together, you can create new memories, share endless snuggles, and provide him with the forever home he so desperately deserves.

Medical notes
FIV positive but otherwise in perfect health.
He has been desexed and is up to date with all his vaccinations, ensuring a happy and healthy life by your side.
FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) should not be a cause for concern, as it is manageable and doesn't require any special treatment. Buttons is a living testament to the fact that cats with FIV can lead fulfilling lives filled with love and joy.

Adoption details
You need to be a pretty special cat person to adopt an elderly cat into your home.
Not as sprightly as a kitten they still require your attentionâŚeven devotion. Youâll need to understand their daily routines and take some time to get to know them.
Help them with grooming â a great way to bond- as they often donât have the energy to do it properly themselves. Older cats are stress averse so be patient, observant and take a little more care of their health needs and youâll soon have a loving companion.
All our cats have received a full health & wellness check and are ready for their new home.
