About Sokie - 1 Year Old Staffy X (Trial)
“Ow low” (hello) is how Sokie, an active stunning looking 1 year old
Staffy X, will welcome you back home.
Sokie is an active dog who loves playing games with you, especially
fetching a ball and tug-a-war. She enjoys going for walks, and with a bit more training would make a great running partner. She is fine on the lead when non-reactive dogs walk nearby, but she needs more time and experiences with other dogs to be fully confident.
When off the lead Sokie stays quite close to you and is currently learning the recall.
Sokie is an affectionate dog but not a snuggle dog. She will
enthusiastically say “ow low” (hello) to you when you return home and will then spend most of her time with you, but she won’t be ’in your face’ as she likes her own space and will give you your space.
Sokie is happy to entertain herself when you aren’t home - she will sniff around looking for lizards to chase (or if she’s very lucky, a cat).
She also enjoys chewing her own toys, especially de-constructing the stuffed ones!
Sokie in brief ….
• Active - loves playing and would be a great running partner
• Can be left alone while you are out of the house - she enjoys her
own company
• Will hang around with you when you are home
• Loves all people but is not ‘in your face’
• Loves a trip in the car - excited to begin with and then settles down/ sleeps on the way home
• Is gentle with food
Ideal Adopter in brief ….
• An active person or active family with children over 10 years
• Someone committed to continue her training (on lead, with other
dogs)
• Understands that she needs her own space
• Must be an only dog
• No cats or pocket pets

PLEASE NOTE: When applying for our dogs and puppies, please ensure to list the name of the dog you wish to adopt. Please do NOT just list the reference number or the microchip number as this will delay your application reaching the correct foster carer.
