G’day, my name is Paddington (Paddy for shorts) and I am the little bear biter you have been looking for. As far as cattle dog pups go, I’m a feisty player with my brother and equally crazy on my own.
My mum is a working cattle gal with a strong voice but a gentle touch, my dad is a Kelpie lad who prefers a quiet life to working for a living, so I guess I am the best of both. I am just a wee pup with typical puppy attitude to everything: Can I eat it? Can I play with it? Better pee on it!
Foster mum is looking for a family for me who has a good understanding and experience with just how ornery we working breeds can be. We need training, socialization and a good amount of exercise for the rest of our life. I am not a puppy that can be left for endless hours in a suburban backyard without supervision or interaction – I’m very young and need attention.
I’m a go getter, I’m a snuggler, I’m a funny boy and I’ll keep you thoroughly amused, but I’ll also give you waves of love and licks, sneaky licks are the bestest. I love all dogs, medium, big or small like me. If you are looking for an only dog, I can be that, just please take me with you to parks and cafes because I love outings. If you already have a dog, then let me meet them and see if we can be friends, I like all sorts of other dogs.
I have not started any formal training yet so you have the opportunity to start from scratch and mold me into the bestest boy that I can be, just for you.
I eat well, I am crate trained so I don’t disturb everyone by partying all night long and I love getting out and about exploring. You will need to be a walker as when I get old enough, I want to cruise the neighborhood saying g’day to everyone. Nothing like a good stroll to keep you healthy and happy.
As I am the active one of the litter, I would like to be in the country but if you are the right family, I can do the burbs. I see myself with a family with children above the age of 8 who want a companion and do not mind a shadow as they potter about doping things. As I’m so young, one of the parents will need to be a homebody with their work so I can be well cared for. I’m not overly crazy active at the moment but I will be when I get to my teenager stage. From there on you need to mold me into your lifestyle so we all grow together and even when I’m old and just prefer snuggles, I’ll still need my walks and a bit of play.
I am a healthy adorable and active boy who is now looking for his one and only forever home. If you have space for me in your home and your heart, please apply now so my foster mom can talk to you.
Love & licks
Paddy 💕
Medical notes
Yogi is not yet desexed. We do not desex puppies until they are at minimum 24-weeks-of-age. All pups must be desexed by 26-weeks-of-age unless under vet advice in writing.
If we have a vet onboard in the adopters area, (eg. NSW mid north coast & northern rivers area) we offer a desexing voucher. If you reside in an area with a vet on board with our rescue you can choose the option of paying the full adoption fee of $680 with desexing at rescue cost.
All our pups are microchipped, have had their first vaccination and have received parasite prevention.
