Trixie

TRIXIE #2944 is a 5yo Shih Tzu X with a black and white coat that will need grooming regularly but she does enjoy a daily brush. She is definitely best as an only dog and without children in her home. She is cautious with people initially but is soon friendly with adults. She was very cautious of other dogs but is slowly learning that she can approach gentle and small dogs. Trixie loves her 5km walk through the forest in the morning and a 2km street walk in the afternoon. She also likes to play, sometimes happily on her own and other times with her human playing fetch. At times she will resource guard her toy so you will need to read her mood. Trixie prefers to wear a coat on chilly nights rather than have a rug over her. If taken out to toilet before bed she will sleep soundly all night and she is house trained. She also prefers a firm bed and tends to pull apart fluffy beds. Trixie loves to "steal" your socks, shoes and even hankies from your pocket, maybe just attention seeking or wanting to have you close to her. Once she's confident with her human, she likes to be a lap dog. She also likes car travel and can get herself in and out of the car.
