Gertrude

Gertie is a sweet and loving pup who loves nothing more than cuddles. She is smart and eager to learn, and even gives up a game of tug-of-war with her siblings for the chance to curl up on your lap. Gertrude has a gentle demeanor that will melt your heart, especially when she looks up at you with those loving eyes!

In addition to being an affectionate puppy, Gertrude loves to play with her toys and chew on tasty treats. She is currently in foster care with both her brother and sister, where she is learning basic crate training and house training.

Gertrude would do best in a home dedicated to teaching her everything she needs to be the best dog she can be - even with a sociable male adult dog in the home who can show her the ropes.

As she is still young, Gertrude will need plenty of positive reinforcement training and a home set up for a puppy. With some patience and dedication from her new family, Gertrude will be sure to blossom into an amazing pet!

We understand that this means that some fantastic homes will miss out and do our best to make our processes as fair as possible. We take a "First In, Best Home" approach and aim to build a great relationship with our adopters built on conversations, not forms. Sometimes this means that it takes us more than 5 days to reply to all applicants. Please be assured that we will let you know as soon as we can, once a puppy has a meet secured. If you do not receive a call, this is no reflection on the quality of your home or application and we would love to hear from you about any other pets you are interested in adopting.
