About Otis - 13 Year Old Pug (Trial)
Need a reason to smile today, you need to meet Otis. Otis is a 13 year old 8kg bundle of joy.
Do not let his age fool you, he is happy go lucky and has a zest for life!!
This little man is a happy loving pug with a beautiful gentle soul and ever ready to share his kisses, his cuddles, his love for life.
Otis is now in great health following some overdue vet work. There are plenty of years left in this loveable boy!
Otis has learnt to live inside, with his foster family, using a doggy door. He is going well at being house trained having previously been an outside dog.
Otis would be best suited to someone home mostly, living inside with his family. Otis gets on well with other dogs and is cat friendly.
To register your interest in adopting Otis you can fill out the adoption questionnaire here https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
PLEASE NOTE: When applying for our dogs and puppies, please ensure to list the name of the dog you wish to adopt. Please do NOT just list the reference number or the microchip number as this will delay your application reaching the correct foster carer.
You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au or www.petrescue.com.au
Otis is in foster care in the Singleton, NSW area. They are NOT currently available for interstate adoption. The adoption fee is $400.00 and they are desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms and microchipped.
PLEASE NOTE: Dog Rescue Newcastle provides individual listings with specific requirements for each foster dog. If you submit an application or inquiry and DO NOT receive a response within 5 business days, please understand that you have not met the specific requirements for this dog. Please do not be disheartened or discouraged, this simply means you were not a suitable match at this time.
This organisation's adoption policy is moderate. What does this mean?
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire: https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
(2) If the questionnaire is approved we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've applied for.
(3) After that we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home, nearby park or your home.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.

For more information or to meet Otis, please contact their carer Anne on anne4drn@gmail.com.
We prefer payment by funds transfer and don’t accept cash or personal cheques.
