Vicksy

Since 4 year old Vicksy came into care with Claws n Paws she has been learning that humans are the source of cuddles and play and is becoming more confident with each day. Vicksy is learning it is safe investigating the yard and being inside in her fostercarer's home. Vicksy will require a home with very secure fencing.. Vicksy takes time to learn to trust but loves being with her carer. She can be wary meeting you but soon warms up and enjoys cuddles and pats.
Vicksy is a gentle girl who is housetrained, but still learning the doggy door. She is learning to walk nicely on lead and come when called. She gets along with the other dogs in care small, large and puppies. She takes time greeting new people and is not too sure about suburban sounds so will need a home where her family is prepared to spend time introducing her to the world around her. Vicksy has not been tested with pocket pets but takes little notice of the pet conure. She would benefit from having another dog to teach her about life in suburbia. Vicksy will require someone who is willing to put the time to continue with her training.
Vicksy comes microchipped, desexed, vaccinated, heartworm tested and treated for heart worm, intestinal worms and fleas.

Vicksy requires a home where:

- someone is around the home much of the time,
- the home has very secure fencing.
- the family understands that this girl require s time and commitment to introduce her to the sights and sounds of her outside world and to continue her obedience training.
