Zara (now Maggie)

Meet Zara! This sweet kelpie/terrier cross is looking for a loving forever home. After a bit of a rough start, she is blossoming in her foster home and would love an outgoing canine friend to help her continue on the path to living her best life. Her ideal dog companion would be a mature, chilled out adult like her and preferably one of medium size as she likes them best.

Her new family will need dedicate themselves to be non-confrontational and calm as Zara goes back into her shell when people are loud or yelling. Not that we can blame her. She likes to be Zen at all times.

Zara loves zoomies in the yard, long walks, and especially loves cuddling up with her human for some TV time (or snuggling on the couch if allowed). While she can be head shy when getting into a harness, her new family will need reward her for being brave. She is house-trained and eager to please and will make an excellent companion with further training.

The one thing that Zara isn't a fan of are cats; she finds it hard to relax around them so would prefer not to have any cats in her forever home. If you're looking for a joyful pup, then Zara is your girl! Come meet this sweetheart today - you won't regret it!
