Monte

Monte is a male desexed small shitzu x Maltese. He’s vaccinated and microchipped. He is a soft, warm loving dog. He’s definitely a happy little boy with so much love to give.
He is house-trained but needs access to get outside for his business, or if you keep an eye on him and get to know him when he wants to go out as he stands at the back-door.
He would be an ideal companion dog for older person but is ok with children. He would love a doggie friend around his size and age to play with. He likes to play when he wants but prefers snuggling up and relaxing on the lounge or in bed with you.
He hasn’t had a lot of experience walking on a lead but has his own harness and is learning to walk with that and doing a great job at it. He ok in the car but prefers to be in a car seat where he feels safe.
Monte is a gentle soul who has been misunderstood and needs a loving gentle quiet household who will take the time to get to know him and him know you. He likes gentle patting and gentle movements when picking him up.

All potential adopters must be willing to meet our trainer on the day of a meet and greet and be willing to put in the effort to implement her training with Monte. He’s definitely worth it. Also you must live close enough or be willing to travel for meet and greets with all our dogs in person with the entire family in Wagga.
