About Cricket
Introducing Cricket, the charming hound dog. Cricket is a bundle of love and happiness, and he knows exactly how to show his affection for people. He's a pro at snuggling and demanding cuddles, preferably on the couch. And he's mastered the art of making you feel like the luckiest human on the planet.
Now, let's talk about Cricket's quirks—one of his favourite pastimes is chasing his own tail. But it's Cricket's happy nature that truly shines. His infectious joy brightens up any room and brings happiness to all who meet him. One thing that makes Cricket irresistibly cute is his golden eyelashes.
When it comes to describing Cricket's personality, it's hard to choose just a few words. He is a couch potato who loves to lounge around, but he also has an adventurous side. He's playful, gentle, and a total cuddle bug. Cricket is an extrovert who thrives on social interaction and is always ready for a fun-filled day.
Cricket's favourite things in the world are simple: eating, playing, and sleeping. His typical day consists of outdoor activities, whether it's playing, exploring, or simply enjoying the fresh air. And oh boy, he’s got a great appetite. Treats are always welcome.
There are a few important things to note about Cricket. He is incredibly friendly and loving, but his excitement can sometimes get the better of him. He has lots of energy and enjoys the company of other dogs, engaging in playful rounds of running and tail-wagging. Cricket would do best in a hound-experienced family or someone who is specifically looking for a hound-type dog.
Cricket requires a large yard with a secure fence to safely explore and follow his nose. Ideally, he would love to have another hound or gun-type friend to play with. He also appreciates being both an inside and outside dog, although he prefers to be warm and cosy indoors, especially during cold weather. Cricket is currently living with school-aged kids and older.
Regretfully and with a heavy heart, Cricket’s owner has made the difficult decision to find him a new home. They love him to bits, but they feel it’s in his best interest to find a family who can provide him with the attention and care he truly deserves.
Note: Cricket's owner is happy to financially contribute to the adoption fee.

Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s owner - the person who knows them best!
It’s a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
From here, the owner will be in touch with you to chat a bit more about their pet, and if they feel your home is the best fit, they will arrange a ‘meet and greet’ for you all to get to know each other.
Should this prove successful, arrangements will be made for the pet to move straight from its current home into yours upon payment of the adoption fee.
The adoption fee is paid directly to PetRescue (via a secure payment link), and assists us to continue to run and develop programs to assist pet owners, just like Home2Home.
Change of Ownership paperwork will be completed, vetwork history will be provided and your new family member will be snuggled on your couch in no time!
