About Mei
Meet Mei!
Mei arrived into care in November last year at only one week old with her brother Po and Mum, Mushu. Sadly she lost her brother after a week and her Mum has since been adopted.
Mei was very unwell and suffering from awful cat flu. We braced ourselves for the worst as we were told the likelihood of survival was low. With the help of medication and around the clock care Mei is still here with us and she has absolutely thrived. Now at 6 months old she is playful, loving, curious and strikingly pretty!
Mei has been in care and living with a number of other cats of all ages, although predominantly younger kittens and has bonded beautifully with them all. She also has a fond friendship with the resident cat who is of similar age. Mei is also living with a 1 year old spoodle dog and a 14 week old puppy and she tolerates them well. Mei also has 2 human foster sisters, aged 10 and 11 years old. She adores them especially when they play with her and sneak her into their rooms for some one on one special attention.
Mei is becoming a real cuddler. She loves human attention and will boop your hand and do whatever it takes to get your attention for some love and affection. She has beautifully soft fur and has recently found her purr, it can be heard loud and proud!
If Mei is to go to a furever home with another animal, introductions would need to be slow and relaxed. She may also be okay as an only cat but this will be dependent on the lifestyle of her furever family and how much time she will be left alone for.
You can also follow along with our daily antics on Facebook and Instagram @Mummaskits.
Mei is ready to go now, all her vet work is complete.
