About Sammy
Meet Sammy! A lovely 10 year old Black and Tan Kelpie male. Sammy has lived his life on a farm up until recently and is now looking for a forever home where he can spend his quiet senior years in comfort and happiness.
Sammy is a smart boy who is quick to learn commands and eager to please. He has been sleeping through the night without a peep, showcasing his good manners. He has also interacted well with older children (10 years and up) and has even adapted to being around a pet sheep! While he has shown no interest in resident chickens, turkeys, or geese, Sammy isn't fond of the resident cat (we all have our preferences, right?).
This charming Kelpie may be older, but he still enjoys having a yard to stretch his legs and the occasional game of chase with his ball (although fetching isn't his forte!). Sammy's ideal home would be one where he can relax in the sun and receive pats and love all day long. He's a true smoocher and adores being showered with affection.
What Sammy truly craves is a loving home where he can receive the attention and care he deserves. Despite the sadness he has experienced, Sammy is ready to bring joy and companionship to someone's life. If you are seeking a beautiful, loving boy to spend your days with, Sammy might just be the perfect match for you.
If you're interested in giving Sammy a forever home, please apply now. He is eagerly waiting to become a cherished member of a loving family who will appreciate his gentle and affectionate nature.
Adopt Sammy today and experience the unconditional love and loyalty that only a senior dog can offer!

You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
