About Peanut - 1 Year Old Kelpie (Trial)
Meet Peanut! A one year old Kelpie who is ready to find her furever home.
Peanut is a super happy and affectionate girl who loves everyone she meets! She is your typical Kelpie - very energetic! But she also loves cuddling on the lounge watching tv with her foster mummy and daddy.
Peanut is currently living with an 8 year old Labrador X and they have become the best of friends. She has learnt to play with toys but doesn’t quite understand the concept of “fetch” yet but we are learning! She knows to sleep in her own bed but does like to come up into her foster parents bed for a morning cuddle! Peanut is toilet trained and is not an escape artist but would require secure fencing. She is great at walking on a lead and is confident being out in public.
Peanut would love a yard where she can run and burn her energy. She would be happy with another dog or to be an only dog as she loves human attention! She hasn’t been around children yet but as she is a ball of energy would be best suited with older children.
Peanuts overview:
- Happy, affectionate, loyal and loving girl. Loves cuddles and kisses
- Thinks she is a lap dog and needs a lot of attention. Doesn’t understand the concept of personal space yet 😂
- Dog friendly
- Requires a large, secured fenced yard
- Needs ongoing obedience training
- Requires an active lifestyle and family who work part time and have availability to be with her more often then not especially as she is still learning the basics
- Her family will need to be willing to have her inside when they are home
- Would benefit from an experienced Kelpie owner who understands the needs of the breed
For more information on Peanut please contact her foster carer on their email courtneymh278@gmail.com. Peanut is in foster care in Cessnock, NSW and is available for interstate adoption. Her adoption fee is $500.
