Hi, my name is Ace, I’m a lovely boy who through no fault of my own need to find a new home. Currently I’m living in a dog run and would really like to find my new family so I can sit inside and by a warm fire, it’s a bit too chilly for a Stafford to be living in a dog run during winter. ☹
I’ve been tossed around a bit too much in my short life, my owner gave me away last October, but I was given back a week ago, and now my original owner has nowhere for me to live, so I’m desperately looking for my new forever family.
I need training, I know how to sit and stay, I jump up but quickly learn not to, I pull on the lead, but the SRV handler managed to control me quite quickly, I’m very keen to please so will learn how to behave in no time.
I lived with another male dog who was entire, and he beat me up, so I’ve got a couple of marks on the top my head, but my hair will grow back soon.
I’m crate trained, I take food very gently, during my assessment my food bowl was removed, and I didn’t react at all, they gave me the bowl back with the rest of the food which was good. 😊
I like riding in the car, I was good with having my eye’s, ears, mouth touched, didn’t like my feet touched so pulled them away and the assessor couldn’t give me a body hug as I was too wriggly.
Obedience school is a must for me so my new owner can learn leadership skills and so I can learn socialisation skills along with a few other things that training will help me with.
