Playful Batman!
- At first meeting, Batman may appear to be a reclusive, reluctant hero like his namesake - but give him a few days and you'll discover his more adventurous, outgoing side.
- Like many cats in a new situation, this gorgeous 2 & a bit year-old boy can be shy and unsure of new people and sounds and may startle easily. However, a bit of patient understanding goes a long way; once he becomes accustomed to his new environment, he won't want to leave you alone!
- Batman is very affectionate and loves to get up close and personal so he can give you head boops. It's hard to take photos of him because he just wants to come to you!
- Batman maintains his sleek good looks by giving his beautiful coat a good brush - if you hold the brush up for him, he will groom himself.
- He's more outgoing than the movie Batmen, you can actually have a decent conversation with him! He loves playing with bouncy balls, feathery toys, catnip, and of course cardboard box hidey holes. A good play before bedtime calms him down at night.
- Batman appreciates playtime, affection, and stimulation. He gets on well with children aged 10 and over but not dogs or other cats. He would do well with a person or people who can give him some quality time.

Our adoption process includes a two week trial period to ensure you and your adopted pet are the right fit.
The adoption fee of $275 includes desexing, microchip (including transfer of ownership), vaccination, flea and worm treatment and vet check.
SAFE Busselton reserves the right to select adoptive homes based on ""best fit"" for the pet. Although all applications will be considered, being the first application will not necessarily provide an advantage as the adoption committee considers many factors when matching animals to their new home.
SAFE Busselton requests that all persons adopting a cat adhere to responsible containment practices. As per the current Cat Laws in WA we encourage people to keep their rescued cat as a permanent indoor cat or with access to a safe cat run. It is no longer desirable to allow your cat to wander onto adjoining properties. Confident cats can also be trained to walk on a harness and lead. We ask that owners be responsible and keep their adopted cat safe at all times so that you will have a long and loving life together. Information on cat enclosures can be found here: https://safe.org.au/catios
