About Brooke and Taylor
Beautiful Golden Retrievers Brooke and Taylor are now available for adoption and seeking their FURever home.
EXPEREINCED DOG HOME ONLY PLEASE
Taylor is 3,½ years of age and Brooke the baby at 2 years of age
The amazing and stunning girls as both fine with cats and other dogs kids and freshly groomed with dental cleans completed so are feeling a million dollars
These gorgeous girls are a bonded pair and must be adopted as a pair to stay together for life
Taylor is the level headed one of the pair lol with a gentle and calm demeanor who will chill around the house and happy to be a couch potato while Brooke is the typical bouncy, cheeky and havoc raiser lol who will have you on your toes constantly while you are forever retrieving things from her mouth she's stolen from the kids rooms lol
Although Taylor is the oldest, she definitely wants to have Brook in her line of sight and relies on her to take charge
Brooke and Taylor both enjoy daily walks and exploring their surroundings. They are good on the lead. Brooke at times does pull with excitement
Typical to breed both will do most things for food and can be easily trained with treats as food motivation is a winner here
Brooke is definitely the cheekier one out of the 2 and will occasionally bark at the neighboring dogs if she hears them bark. She loves toys and playing fetch. She loves the attention of her hoomans. Enjoys a gentle brush and likes to be near you and be smothered with kisses and belly rubs
Taylor is sweet, calm and extremely well behaved. Taylor is more of a snuggly girl and will lay near you and sleep. She loves to be groomed with a gentle brush and will often fall asleep. A very chilled potato Goldie
Brooke and Taylor are both fully toilet trained and enjoy being inside the family home and laying out in the sunshine.

Favorite things
Brooke and Taylor's favorite thing is definitely spending time with their foster family. Receiving lots of love and attention.
Cheese favorite treat
Brooke and Taylor love their walks and being part of the family.
Interactions with humans.
Brooke and Taylor when meeting people outside of the foster home or when a visitor is in the home will both approach for a pat and then relax on the couch or dog bed. If they see food they will seek to be offered but are very well behaved and will sit to receive food. At times Brooke is a bit jumpy when food is around excited whereas Taylor will wait for her food.
As Brooke can get over excited when new hoomans are around we are seeking a home with mature age children who are dog savvy
Brooke will bark to alert someone walking past the house or out the front. She is a great watch dog and when she knows the people are ok she is all happy and asks for a pat with her tail wagging. When the earthquake was felt last night Brooke was barking to alert something was wrong where Taylor is extremely chilled and loves her sleep. During the time we have had both Goldie’s in our foster home I have heard Brooke bark but not Taylor.
Medical
Both girls have had dental cleanings completed and both girls came in with ear infections that have been treated
Taylor had an eye infection on arrival that has been treated and cleared
Obedience and training.
Brooke and Taylor both respond when their names are called. Both girls are very good on lead with harnesses. Both will sit to be given treats.
Brooke loves to lay on her dog bed or couch and enjoys a cuddle. She appears to be more active out of the 2. She loves her toys and will fetch a toy or ball and bring them back to be thrown again. She loves the attention of humans in foster homes.
Taylor doesn't seem very interested in toys but loves the attention of humans especially the kids in her foster home. She will sit for treats and often raises her paw for a shake.
Animal social skills.
Brooke and Taylor both have interacted with other dogs and have gone for walks with other dogs and got on well and happily went for a walk with their tails wagging.
There are 2 cats in the foster home. Brooke seems a bit more interested and Taylor seems to ignore the cats as they pass by.
