I've been adopted!
About Toby - 5 Year Old Japanese Spitz (Trial)
Have you ever met a fluffier, and more handsome fellow than…me! I think not.
My name is Toby and this white fluffy coat means I am a purebred Japanese Spitz. I am a pure ball of snow and I adore being tickled, scratched and groomed of course. I am 5 years old and only getting handsomer with age!
When we meet I will impress you with me loveable personality and I have not met one person yet that I wasn’t able to win over. Including kids and other dogs. I am friendly and playful with everyone.
I love to be part of a family so will need to be welcomed inside with you all. TV is a favourite past time of mine and I know your lap is a particularly comfortable place to sit while we watch our favourite TV shows together. I am not fussy, but love a good re-run of a classic!
I am ready for a new home, and ready for a new lap to cuddle up on. If you think this is you then get in contact with my foster carer and come meet me!!
To register your interest in adopting Toby you can fill out the adoption questionnaire here https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
PLEASE NOTE: When applying for our dogs and puppies, please ensure to list the name of the dog you wish to adopt. Please do NOT just list the reference number or the microchip number as this will delay your application reaching the correct foster carer.
You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au or www.petrescue.com.au
Toby is in foster care in the Tuggerawong, NSW area. They are currently available for interstate adoption. The adoption fee is $600.00 and they are desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms and microchipped.
PLEASE NOTE: Dog Rescue Newcastle provides individual listings with specific requirements for each foster dog. If you submit an application or inquiry and DO NOT receive a response within 5 business days, please understand that you have not met the specific requirements for this dog. Please do not be disheartened or discouraged, this simply means you were not a suitable match at this time.
This organisation's adoption policy is moderate. What does this mean?
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire: https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
(2) If the questionnaire is approved we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've applied for.
(3) After that we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home, nearby park or your home.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.

For more information or to meet Toby, please contact their carer Matt on mattvanwyck@hotmail.com.
We prefer payment by funds transfer and don’t accept cash or personal cheques.
