About Violet
Violet was taken to a vet at 11 weeks old to be euthanised as she was presenting many health issues. (Gunky eyes, abscesses, hair loss, inflamed face and ears. The breeder couldn’t of wouldn’t afford the costs to find out what was going on, so she was surrendered to TOTF.
We spent a considerable amount for biopsies and surgery to find out the cause of all this secondary issues.
A prognosis was found ‘Puppy Strangles’ which is considerably rare and curable. A google of name and everything is self explanatory. It’s a one off, and has been treated aggressively with medications.
Violet has had some hair loss around her eyes and the tops of her ears, but will completely grow back.
Her sides of her neck has short hair due to treating her abscesses which have healed completely.
Considering what little Violet has been through, she has had no behaviourial issues due to her pain and recovery.
She is a sweet , loveable, independent little girl.
She is in a foster home with 4 other dogs, and takes it in her stride.
She is crate trained at night and is maybe 90% toilet trained.
She loves playing with all her toys.
Violet would do well with a little furfriend and needs someone home a little bit.
Someone who is patient to get her to 100% of toilet training.
Violet is still due one more vaccination that will be done this week.
We have a desexing contract for her to be desexed at 6 mths old (paid by rescue and by our appointed vet).
Her microchip stays in our name till desexing.
We would love for all Violets hair to be grown back and looking herself before adoption, but she is so ready to find her forever home now.
Violet will come with a new bed, harness, collar, lead. Bag of food. Months supply of Nexguard spectra. Lots of new toys. Jumper,coat,t-shirt.brush, shampoo, puppy pads….etc.
Violet is on the Gold Coast
Adoption Fee: $1495 (includes desexing at 6 mths)

Adoption details
We shortlist and contact families who may fit the dogs needs. If indications are positive, normally after sleeping on it, a home check is organised, then an adoption agreement is completed, adoption donation (variable on account of age and health of individual dog) is transferred and the dog will become part of your family.
All our dogs have had a consultation with our vet, are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and treated for fleas. As we want every dog to be in its own family we try and fit dogs into forever homes, we don’t offer “Trials”. Naturally unforeseen circumstances arise occasionally where it’s preferable dogs come back to us as per our adoption agreement.
