About Cheeky
Hi, my name's Cheeky! I came from a hoarder property with 45 cats and kittens! I'm ready to find my furever home now, could that be with you?
I was a bit scared when I first came into care, but not anymore though! Pats are the best thing in the world! I love human attention and sleeping on my favourite chair. At night I'll cuddle up with you in bed to keep you warm. If you don't give me attention when I want it, I'll paw at you and give you gentle love bites. I'm playful as well and loved playing with toys and the foster kittens once I got used to them enough to stop growling! If you're looking for a younger girl who is out of her kitten phase, I'm the one for you!
Cheeky has been:
- Tried with cats and is fine after proper introductions (she will growl and hiss when she first meets them)
- Tried with children and is good with older children
- Untried with dogs
***To be kept strictly indoors only or with access to a secure enclosure***
Cheeky is approximately 1.8 years old (DOB: 10/11/21) and her adoption fee of $150 includes:
- Desexing
- Full Vaccinations
- Microchipping
- Parasite treatment until date of adoption
- Litter training
- Socialisation
- An adoption pack with some of her current food, a carrier blanket, a set of toys, and other goodies to get her started.
Cheeky is available to meet at PETstock Melrose Park.
If you would like to meet her, please head to 1089 South Road Melrose Park and speak to one of the lovely staff members!
Adoption details
Kittens and cats are adopted through their foster homes. Potential adopters are encouraged to contact Hisses to Purrs by phone, email or Facebook to arrange a meet and greet with the kitten they are interested in.
All kittens and cats are microchipped, vaccinated, desexed and parasite treated prior to adoption. There are no exceptions to this rule.
Pre-adoptions are available for adopters who wish to adopt a specific kitten or cat who has not reached weight for desexing, or who are awaiting their vet appointment. A minimum deposit can be made to pre-adopt a kitten awaiting their vet work. Kittens and cats remain in the care of Hisses to Purrs until desexing has occurred and in the case of female kittens and cats, until 5 days after desexing to give them time to heal.
All kittens and cats adopted through us must be kept indoors or have access to a secure cat enclosure. This is non-negotiable for the safety and health of our kittens and cats.
If you wish to adopt a cat or kitten, please fill out the adoption application form https://forms.gle/hadqmP3cVaDLviC9A
