About Dougall
Dougall is like an 8-week-old puppy...but if that puppy was actually 5 months old.....and a cat.
He is incredibly cute, incredibly affectionate, incredibly friendly and also incredible at being a huge pain in the ass.
Dougall LOVES food. If you're in the kitchen, so is he. But he's not just in the kitchen - he's in your cupboards, in your pans, or in your fridge drawer searching as hard as he can for FOOD.
In fact, one day, Dougall actually ate a shell. We're not sure why or even how, but he scoffed it down like it was a piece of ham.
Dougall has energy with a capital E and loves to hang out in his foster hoomans outdoor enclosure. We'd love to find a forever home with an enclosed outdoor space for Dougall.
General peskiness aside, Dougall is actually a gem of a kitten and will make all of your days with his antics.
He uses the litter box like a champ, gets along smashingly with dogs and older kids, and would be a wonderful friend to an equally crazy-cat.
He's quite independent too; while he'd love someone around all day to keep him entertained, Dougall is perfectly content amusing himself if no one's home (just make sure you've put away all your decorative shells)
In short, Dougall is basically a dog-cat. He's got all the confidence and charm, but he needs a home that is going to tolerate his food-obsessed tendencies.
If Dougall sounds perfect for you, please complete the short adoption application form in the attached link, please note this is the only way your application will be considered: https://homelesshounds.com.au/adopt/cats
Medical notes
Dougall is desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and up-to-date with parasite control.
