About Otto (puppy)
Otto is a gorgeous black and tan six week old German Shepherd puppy who will be ready to go to his new home from 14 June 2023.
Otto is the biggest of the puppies because he eats a lot and doesn't do much, often napping or just observing his mates.
We would recommend Otto's new family continue with his socialisation to ensure he continues to grow into a self assured and calm dog.
We are looking for a committed owner who will ensure Otto becomes an integral member of the family. Previous experience with this breed or large breed dogs is a must.
Otto hasn't been around with cats or pocket pets but being a puppy can be easily trained.
If you are prepared to make a 10 year plus commitment to this beautiful boy then please contact us by selecting "Enquire about Otto" below.
If you live in Queensland or Victoria, you can be considered, however you will need to be able to drive with your family and any dogs to meet Otto. If for any reason he doesn't fit your family you will be responsible for bringing him back to Sydney or helping us to rehome from your home.
Medical notes
Otto is microchipped and has had his first vaccination.
He will be desexed at 12 month of age as recommended by our vets. An agreement to Desex will be signed by the new owner.
Adoption details
We have an Adoptions Manager who screens all prospective candidates as to their suitability to adopt a German Shepherd Dog.
We try to contact every one by phone but if that isn't successful we will email our application form to you, which needs to be completed and returned, or you can call us back and we can chat and complete for you. We will also ask you to provide photos of your yard and fencing to enable us to see where the dog will be kept and that they have areas of shade and shelter.
All our dogs are ready to go to their new home, so when you enquire about a dog you must be in a position to take them into your home. We are unable to hold a dog while you fix your fences or go on holiday, etc.
The successful candidate who adopts one of our dogs is provided with an information kit, ongoing support, training and advice on all aspects of feeding, training and general assistance to ensure both the new owner and our rescued dog settle into their home.
