About Junior
Meet Junior, a lively and affectionate rescue kitten! He has a beautiful classic tabby coat and the longest legs, which he crosses daintily when he sleeps.
Junior loves to explore his environment by playfully jumping in and out of paper bags or becoming a ninja warrior on the sofa. He adores his brother Junior and would love a home with him or another friendly kitty.
Junior loves humans, but prefers to play with them rather than be held for long periods. However, when he tires out from all his adventures, he will snuggle up on the lap of anyone around him. Since arriving in his foster home, Junior has become much more confident and vocal with his family.
The ideal home for Junior is somewhere where he can roam freely indoors and have lots of space to run around and explore! He would do best in a household with children who will be patient enough to play with him but also understand that he needs some alone time every now and then.
Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry should be made via
https://form.jotform.com/shellys.place.rescue/adoption-enquiry
2. Once your application has been received, one of our volunteers will contact you for a phone interview. This is to determine whether one of our cats or kittens will be a good fit for your home. We all want long-term success in placing rescue animals, so finding the best fit for the animal AND the family is very important.
3. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if the application is approved.
4. A Property check will take place via a video call (due to Covid restrictions). Once this has been successfully completed, adoption paperwork finalised and the adoption donation processed, the pet can be collected from foster care.
5. A 14 day settling-in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster care.
6. Adoption is finalised after 14 days. Paperwork/records will be included in an adoption pack.
7. All animals for adoption are kept up to date with vet work until the date of adoption. The pet will be rehomed desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and treated monthly for fleas and intestinal worms. Once the adoption is finalised, the new owners are responsible for all vaccinations and preventative treatments.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your enquiry as soon as we can. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to hold any animals. Please only apply if you are ready to adopt now.
