About Pompoko
*In foster care in Lidcombe, Sydney*
Tabby boy Pompoko ('Poko' for short) has been hand-raised in foster care, and all that love has worked wonders - he's one of the sweetest kittens his foster mum has ever met!
Poko enjoys greeting you at the door when you come home, and is always keen to be your little lap warmer whether you're working, chilling or sleeping. He has a shorter than average tail that resembles a raccoon - hence why he was named after the Pom Poko movie!
Like all Maggie's pets, Pompoko is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... will be indoors-only, as that's where I feel safest. I'm a really sociable kitten - I adore company in any shape or form! - so my purrfect home would be with a fabulous person, couple or family who'll spend plenty of time with me. If you have to go out to work I'd really like a furry friend to hang out with so I don't get lonely.
Oh, and I LOVE snuggles and am definitely not shy to ask for them!
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Typical for my age, I think! Lots of playtime, interspersed with lots of nap (and snuggle) time.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Great! I'm comfortable with being handled and carried, and I'm always up for a fun game.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I'm very well socialised with the other cats and kittens in my foster home! At one point I also lived with a puppy, and we became best buds :)

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
