About Chiko
*In foster care in Eastwood, Sydney*
An absolute goofball, Chiko will keep you entertained for hours with his antics - whether he's slipping and sliding around the house, experimenting with a new toy, or just being darn cute!
He's super food-oriented and will chow down his food in an instant. Confident and friendly - even with strangers - he's constantly purring, and wonderfully gentle and affectionate in nature.
And the one time he needed a bath, he totally loved it!
Anyone would be lucky to have Chiko in their lives - he's one special kitty :)
Like all Maggie's pets, Chiko is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: Being highly adaptable, I'll likely be fine in any type of cat-loving environment! All I need is bags of attention and affection (and yummy food, of course). I'm very much a people person, so a home where my humans are often around is preferred. Maybe you're retired, or WFH a few days a week?
MY ENERGY LEVEL: High! I can play for hours, and I love to race around and find exciting new ways to occupy myself - then crash and snooze the rest of the day away :)
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Because I'm so energetic and playful, and don't really mind being handled, I reckon I'd enjoy family life!
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I adore the company and cuddles of my siblings, so I'd be very happy in a household with another kitty playmate! There's no reason I wouldn't get on with a friendly dog too, with the proper introductions.

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
