Ponyo - 7 Week Old Wolfhound X(Trial 13/6)

Ponyo is a 7-week-old wolfhound x staffy with so much love to give. He is a very energetic puppy and needs a lot of time and care. He loves people and his favourite place to nap will be in your lap. Ponyo has a very cheeky nature, and he definitely needs another puppy or dog to keep him entertained in the day and company in the night. He is very healthy and is currently in care in an apartment by the beach.

Ponyo is a bundle of energy and will most likely grow into a larger dog with his wolfhound mix. He is well socialised with other puppies and dogs and loves humans too. Now he hasn’t met any little people yet, so I cannot comment on his interactions with them, but he will probably get along with the little ones just as well as he does everyone else. We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training.

It would be a big plus if you have a friendly adult dog as a teacher, companion, and playmate for Ponyo. If you don't have another dog to keep him company, then there needs to be someone in the household that doesn't work full time, as he is a little needy and doesn’t like to be left alone for very long.

Ponyo needs to be welcome inside when people are home, and to sleep inside at least until fully grown. He will be wonderful family dog and is best suited for children 8 years and older. You need good fencing with no small gaps. He can't go to rural fencing (eg: mesh or wire).

Ponyo’s adoption fee is $700 which includes his desexing when he is old enough. It also includes his first two vaccinations. He has been treated for fleas and worms and is microchipped.

Ponyo is in foster care in Newcastle, NSW. Since he is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to the Lower Hunter region (Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland and Cessnock) plus Central Coast and Sydney. He'll need to be returned to one of our approved vets for desexing when he's 5 to 6 months old.
