About Howl - 9 Week Old Labrador X Staffy (Trial)
Howl is a 9 week old male Labrador x staffy with the sweetest little heart ever. He definitely has the Labrador body and energy as he loves to nap all day long. He is very healthy and a great eater, and he is currently in care in an apartment by the beach. He has been very well socialised with other puppies and has met a few grown dogs with no problems. Like most Labrador pups, Howl loves getting a bath and is super comfortable around water. He has also been known to dig some nice holes in the sand too.
Howl absolutely loves children, but as he is a puppy, he has been known to jump so he can lick the little one’s faces. He would love another dog or puppy to grow up with, but it is not essential as he is quite happy by himself also. He is in care with another puppy at the moment, and they love to wrestle to get out their energy before a long nap to recover.
Howl will grow up to be a medium-large dog. We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training.
Howl needs to be welcome inside when people are home, and to sleep inside at least until fully grown. He will be wonderful family dog as he has a really gentle nature and loves being around people. You need good fencing with no small gaps. He can't go to rural fencing (eg: mesh or wire). He has been sleeping through the night with no issues, but definitely needs some help with his toilet training.
Howl’s adoption fee is $700 which includes his desexing when he is old enough. It also includes his first two vaccinations. He has been treated for fleas and worms and is microchipped.
Howl is in foster care in Newcastle, NSW. Since he is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to the Lower Hunter region (Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland and Cessnock) plus Central Coast and Sydney. He'll need to be returned to one of our approved vets for desexing when he's 5 to 6 months old.
To apply to meet Howl please fill out our Adoption Questionnaire https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt. If you have any questions, you can send an email to Isabella.britt97@gmail.com
