About Luna
Introducing Luna, a gorgeous 4 year and 4 month old French bulldog.
Luna is a gorgeous love bug who is looking for a family to call her own
Luna’s favorite thing is to cuddle (she loves to cuddle – the closer the better for her)
Luna also loves to go for walks and loves to go in a pram for a stroll if you want to go long distances. Luna is still learning how to be on a lead.
Luna came into care after her breeder reached out and asked for our help – Luna had a large lump on her chest that needed surgery. The rescue did the surgery and Luna has recovered amazingly.
Luna’s foster mum has loved showing Luna so new fun things – they have worked on her confidence when it comes to meeting new people and Luna loves when people give her eat scratches – she can still be a little shy when meeting new people so if people let her go at her speed meeting she feels safe and happy.
Luna once settled can be a cheeky happy girl who will have you on your toes one minute and the next minute will be a cuddle buddy for you – she is very much a fan of tummy rubs. Luna may take a few days to come to you for cuddles but the wait is worth it!
Luna is friendly with other dogs big and small (breed and personality) and no issues with them – she will show her silly side by playing with them, and is loving toys and treats.
Luna is a gentle girl who has learnt ‘sit’ and ‘on your bed’ and for a treat will happily learn more!
While Luna would love company of another dog or a human she is also fine if you have to work thru the day / night – she will happily snooze while you’re at work and wait for you to get home and have cuddles.
Luna loves to sleep with her humans either on their bed or on the couch. She also happily sleeps in a dog bed.
Luna is very submissive so she needs a home with another dog who is happy to be her friend but not be too bossy.
Luna has not been tested with cats.
Luna is a lovely girl who knows the minute you are trying to take a photo of her – she will often look very sad, but in real life when she does smile……… she lights up the world.
Luna is child friendly but screaming kids or really high energy kids do make her nervous so ideally a home with children over the age of 8 please.
Luna would love a home where there is a doggy door that she can access inside and outside when she wants.
If you are looking for a fur child with lots of love to give – please apply!!!

Once an adoption enquiry is completed our admin team will assess the application and if successful we will arrange for a meet and greet to be completed. We may also request photos of your yard for consideration of your application. Please note that we will do no more than 3 meet and greets per dog.
Approved applicants will be contacted to arrange a time for a meet & greet via email. You must bring your current dog along to the meeting if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption - proof of your dogs up-to-date vaccination is required before any meet and greet is arranged.
Our adoption fee must be cleared in our bank account before any animal is available for pick up. Please note we bank with ANZ - any other bank may take 48 hours to process the monies.
Paw Prints Canine Rescue has a 10 day trial period – this basically means that if for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus an admin fee (minimum is $100) will be returned to the adoptees via bank transfer within 7 working days.
Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.
Please also note while this can be a very exciting time for everyone, it can also be an overwhelming time for dogs and we ask that you do try and allow your new family member to settle in their new home and adjust
INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS **
Any transport costs are to be paid by the adopting family, however we can assist you in helping with transport to airports etc.
** Please note some of our dogs are not available for interstate adoption
