Hiya, I'm Amber! I'm a sensitive, sweet girl who is a big fan of hugs! I come from a place that's more remote, so a calmer home where I can get the support and reassurance I need is my dream home.

New people and places can be overwhelming for me, so I'd appreciate slow interactions, lots of vocal encouragement, and rewards for being brave.

When I'm feeling happy and confident, I'm an absolute cuddle-bug! I'll lean into any pats coming my way, and I'll even curl up on people's laps if I'm able to! I also love people and love my food, so don't be surprised if I look to you for guidance (and some yummy treats!)

While I love people, I'm not a big fan of close handling. I'm also learning about indoors life. If you can give me access to both indoors and outdoors, it'll help me settle into my new home. I'm also learning about lead training - we can go for practice walks in the backyard and low-traffic areas to help me learn, relax, and be my happy self. :)

If you have any older kids, I'd love to meet them! And if you have any other pooches at home - especially any calm respectful gents - I'd like to say hi as well!
