Meet Savannah and Gretel! They are looking for a foster, or a foster-to-adopt home.

Savannah l is a stunning ginger girl, and Gretel is a beautiful classic tortoiseshell. They are related - Savannah is Gretel's auntie and has been a part of the tribe raising this baby of the large extended family of queens and aunties.

Savannah has quite a story, being trapped in a cabin park in flood after a kind-hearted person contacted the rescue about some kittens drowning. When it rains, it pours, and what started off as a few kittens turned out to be 6 adults and 12 kittens, plus Gretel, the afterthought, who was born in foster care and surprised everyone.

Savannah is a stunning ginger queen. She is calm and quiet and absolutely no trouble. She has been in foster care for over a year, is used to humans and knows they mean good things. She is on the brink of starting to enjoy human touch, and a patient foster carer will have an enjoyable experience of watching Savannah blossom.

Gretel is a classic tortoiseshell princess. She was born in foster care and has lived with humans and her extended family of cousins, aunties and grandma. Her mum was very young, and her aunties, who were more experienced, all raised Gretel together. As a result, she is very cat-social and loves cuddles - in her tortie way, it is on her terms.

This pair would thrive in a calm and settled environment. Savannah and Gretel are currently being fostered in a multi-cat environment and are fine with other cats. No children, but dogs that know to keep their distance would likely be okay.
