River

Great News – Our 3 neglected Pound pups are doing so well they are ready to look for their forever families.

Lets start with River

River 16 week old Male Suspected Vizsla mix

River is one of the sweetest puppies you will ever meet.

He loves a quiet and calm human and simply adores other dogs, staying firmly by their side and always touching.

He is not a puppy who will wander off on his own but rather stay close to his pack and within the security of his family.

Vizslas are known to be highly intelligent, obedient, and affectionate, making them a wonderful companion who can be easily trained in the right environment.

As well as this, they have an above-average learning ability and a strong desire to be with people.

River is already shown he is incredibly intelligent and inquisitive with the right balance of caution.

He will happily explore with his pack but not on his own.

He loves to have contact with either another dog or his human and for this reason would be best suited with a family that has the flexibility to be home often and ideally with the company of another dog.

River gets all his confidence at this early stage of his life from his pack and constantly seeks reassurance and comfort from them.

River would be broken hearted on his own and if left for long periods of time during the days too.

He simply loves company.

He is kind to kids, albeit wary at first until he gets confident, he adores all dogs showing he is incredibly submissive and kind.

River is curious about cats, but his cautious nature still sees him observing from a safe distance- smart little boy!

Already showing signs of being an incredible guard dog he stands his ground (all 11kgs of him) in play with his massive foster brothers.

River learns quickly and has the most beautiful little face and features, he melts hearts.

River is crate trained and has started with very basic obedience training.

This little boy is eager to please and highly trainable as he is motivated by treats such as chicken.

He already knows the command to go to bed and stay. He is fully toilet trained and will always asking to go outside to toilet.

He is absolutely an adorable and playful puppy looking for his forever home!

Currently, River is in foster care in Highvale and ready for his meet and greet.

When he first meets you, he may be a little nervous and wary, but he warms quickly.

River is vaccinated to date, microchipped and up to date with his flea and worm treatments.

His adoption fee of $595 includes desexing at one of our partner vets at 6 months of age.
