Cleo - 3 Year Old Bullmastiff X (On trial 16/7/23)

Cleo is a female, bullmastiff cross who has just turned 3. She is the most affectionate girl you will ever meet and if allowed, would love to be your shadow. Once Cleo gets to know you, she will offer you an endless amount of love, cuddles, and kisses and in return she would love the same off you along with an animal show to watch on the TV!

Cleo has shown nothing but kindness to everyone she has met since coming into care 4 weeks ago when she was rescued from the streets, underweight and thinking all humans were out to hurt her. She currently lives with an 18-month child who she adores however due to Cleo being a bundle of enthusiasm who is still working on her manners when excited she would be best suited to a family with children 6 years and above purely due to the possibility of little ones being knocked over by accident.

Since coming into care Cleo has never tried to leave, however, she has very long, gorgeous legs that have the capability of clearing standard height fences so she will need a secure yard with high fencing. She is very loyal and just wants to spend time with you so is best suited to a family who work part time. Like most dogs, Cleo will need daily exercising and needs an understanding, experienced owner who will help build her confidence when out in public, on the lead and when meeting new people.

Cleo’s overview:
- LOVES to cuddle, kiss and watch dogs on the TV.
- Thinks she is a lapdog.
- Toilet trained / has manners when you are eating / sleeps inside on her own bed.
- Great with children
- Best suited to be the first pet to enable her the attention, time and love she deserves before introducing a furry brother or sister
- Requires secured yard with high fences.
- Suited to an active family, who work part time with children above 6 years old (due to her size) and are willing to have her inside when they are home
- Needs a patient family experienced with dogs who have time to put in to building her confidence when outside of the family home on the lead and offer on-going training.

Cleo's adoption fee is $500. She is in foster care in Belmont North, NSW.
