About 9197 - Huckleberry Pie
šš° INTRODUCING HUCKLEBERRY PIE š°š
Hey you! Yes you, you need to read this!!
WAIT don't scroll past, itās important. I need a new family. Even though I love my foster home, it's time to find my forever home!
Nature
My name is Huckleberry, I came into care after the Angels found my siblings and I on the streets, all 7 of us in total.
I love everything about living inside now, I get food whenever I like, I have a nice warm bed to sleep in, I have a kitty litter to do you know what in! Now it's time to find my forever family who will help me continue my journey. I am still a little bit wary about humans but I like a good cuddle and even purr for you.
Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
I love other kitties, I absolutely can't get enough of the older kitties in my home, I like the company. So I would enjoy having a fur friend to hang with.
I haven't met any dogs yet but with slow intros we will be BFFs I'm sure! I haven't met any kids yet either but I think older kids who understand to be patient with me is better.
Likes / Dislikes
I love chicken, I mean who doesn't right? But OMG I do. I love to play, chase, wrestle⦠the usual kitten antics of course.
My PURR-fect home would be somewhere I would have time to adjust to my new family and teach me that I do love cuddles and lap time. I would prefer older children in my home as I haven't met the smaller kind.

9197 ā Huckleberry Pie
Gender: Male
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Colour: Black
DOB: 16/12/2022
Adoption Fee: $150
*Huckleberry Pieās adoption fee includes vet check, sterilisation, vaccination, microchip, flea, and worm treatment
Medical Notes: Huckleberry Pie was exposed to Ringworm, a common fungal infection, and cat flu, a respiratory infection. He did not show symptoms and was given the all clear by the vet.
Huckleberry Pie was exposed to the Feline Coronavirus which is a common virus that cats are exposed to. Cats that contract Feline Coronavirus are generally asymptomatic or have mild diarrhoea. There is a small chance that Feline Coronavirus can mutate into Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP). Until recently, FIP was considered to be a fatal disease however recent advances in veterinary pharmaceuticals means that there are some experimental treatment options available that have had success in treating FIP. Risk of Feline Coronavirus mutating to FIP can be reduced by making sure your cat has regular health checks and vaccinations, high quality nutrition, keeping cat numbers in the house low, and attempting to keep the environment as stress free as possible.
