About Juno
Darling Juno is a happy boy with a huge heart. He is goofy, sweet, and loves cuddling and being told he is a good boy - which he is!
Juno is lazy when it comes to getting up in the morning. He would much rather sleep in than use the toilet outside before his humans go to work. Once he's back inside, he goes straight back to bed and proceeds to lounge, chew his toys and wait for everyone to come home.
He will gladly enjoy a lick mat or kong while everyone's away, but once they're back home, he's ready for cuddles and a laze in the garden for the afternoon. His favourite time of day is walkies followed by dinner, and if he can squeeze another cuddle in before bed, then he's very, VERY happy. When his humans are home, he loves lazing at their feet or right beside them, and if he wants some attention, he's not above rolling over and barking to get it!
Juno is learning he's a little too big to jump when he sees people and instead will offer his paw up for affection. He likes leaning on you, getting cuddles and most importantly, belly rubs and treats. He will always paw when it's time for pats, but will do whatever he's asked if it means he gets his treats! Mostly he wants to be all up in your lap, but at 26kg… well, he's learning it's okay to sit beside you instead.
Juno is super sweet and has a gentle soul, but he is also a bit of a goof. He can definitely be a little clumsy and unaware of his size, especially when he's excited. It's actually quite cute to watch him accidentally get tangled up in his own feet. He might be a little too clumsy for small children or older people, but he would never mean to do any harm. He hasn't had much experience around children but hasn't seemed anxious about them when out and about.
Juno lived with cats and has been okay with dog-confident cats that won't run away, but he has chased cats when they run away from him. He gets along with other dogs on a leash at the dog park and likes to play with his current doggy housemate. So potentially, Juno could be suited to a home with other pets if proper and slow introductions were made. Juno would also be more than happy to be an only pet and soak up all your cuddles and attention!
Sometimes he can be misunderstood as stubborn, but Juno is a great communicator and will make grizzly sounds to let you know if he feels uncomfortable. Juno is an intelligent and sensitive boy who learns quickest with praise and treats rather than a firm hand. So his new owner should be someone aligned with this way of doing things.
Juno will make a fantastic companion for someone with a heart full of love, just like his! He would love a large backyard full of sunshine and an active but calm household where he can be part of his family. Are you Juno's the perfect match?

Medical notes
When Juno was a little younger, he broke his leg and had surgery to have it repaired. He has recovered well from this and is a happy and playful pup. However, it might be best for him to avoid high-intensity exercise to reduce the risk of re-injury or arthritis.

Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s owner - the person who knows them best!
It’s a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
From here, the owner will be in touch with you to chat a bit more about their pet, and if they feel your home is the best fit, they will arrange a ‘meet and greet’ for you all to get to know each other.
Should this prove successful, arrangements will be made for the pet to move straight from its current home into yours upon payment of the adoption fee.
The adoption fee is paid directly to PetRescue (via a secure payment link), and assists us to continue to run and develop programs to assist pet owners, just like Home2Home.
Change of Ownership paperwork will be completed, vetwork history will be provided and your new family member will be snuggled on your couch in no time!
