About Meg
Hi, my name is Meg. I am an 11 year old lady kelpie and I am an absolute sweetheart, or at least that’s what everyone who meets me tells me.
A bit like Mary Poppins, I think I’m ‘practically perfect in every way’. While I might be considered a ‘senior’ girl, I have been mistaken for a puppy more than once, and not just because of my petite stature, I have a real bounce in my step. I love a lazy stroll where I get to sniff everything. I’m great on the lead, so this will be fun for both of us. As much as I like a walk, my favourite place is home where I can be inside with my people, sleeping at their feet while they work or snuggling up on the couch for cuddles.
I know how to sit, and am getting better at waiting for my food. I sleep happily through the night, I’m toilet trained, I travel well in the car, I’m good with children and I don’t bark. Like I said ‘practically perfect’.
While I don’t mind the company of other dogs, I get a little nervous if they pay me too much attention and I am much more of a people lover. Ideally I am looking for home where I am the only dog and can enjoy all the cuddles, or a home with a polite dog who will give me my space. While I am quite content on my own for periods of time, I would love it if I could join someone who is home most of the time. I don’t need as much space as my younger kelpie friends. As long as I get daily walks and can be inside with my family for plenty of cuddles, I will be a very happy dog.
I keep being told I will make someone very happy. If you think you are that someone, please fill out the application form. I can’t wait to join my forever home.

Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
