About Knight
Well if you think this boy is simply GORGEOUS and are seeking a loyal loving LOVEBUG
Meet Knight The FLOOFY and SHAGGY heart throb
A Golden Retriever x Lab (although we think he must have something else in him, an Irish wolfhound possibly as he has a Wolfhound coat texture and is 11 months and 35 kilos) with a great temperament and loving nature, this boy will be sure to win your heart. Heās only 11 months old and is still a pup. Heās already starting to learn quickly and with consistent guidance and boundaries will quickly become the best member of the family.
Knight is not only handsome and as cute as a button he is just a loveable goofball with a huge heart and the potential to be an amazing boy.

Favorite things
Knight loves playing with his toys but most of all loves the company of others and wonāt leave your side when youāre around. He loves nothing more than lying on his back and getting his tummy rubbed or snuggling up next to whoever is around.
He enjoys playing with toys, treats, going out on walks and being with people, he really is a people person hair bear
Interaction with humans
Knight is currently being looked after in a family home that includes teenagers and is so happy to see any one of them by greeting them with some impressive tail wagging.and hairy butt Especially when he knows heās going to get a pat, tummy rub or treats.
When out on a walk, he doesnāt pull too much and will get the hang of things with some structured routine. Heās happy to meet other dogs and people when out on walks.
Knight has been getting used to his surroundings but can be clumsy with those puppy legs so we would love him to have some space.
Obedience/Training
Knight can sit on command and is happy to give a paw, or two, to get a pat and a treat.
He has been ok on a lead but could do with more training and practice. He enjoys the large back yard he currently has to explore and have a sticky beak.
He has started to chew some plants as is normal for these breeds to be inquisitive lol and quickly understood his boundaries when he was corrected with a quick āNoā!
This boy just really wants to please and with a family who is willing to commit the time and effort into training him he will be perfect.
Car travel
This big spunk is a dream in the car. He had a bit of a journey when he first came into our car and a couple of shorter journeys, and he has been a gentleman and hasnāt made a sound. He is willing and able to leap in and out of the back of the car.
Animal social skills
Knight is in a home with a playful 4yr old yellow lab and has been happy to wrestle and play tug of war with rope toys and sticks.
This HUNKY boy just wants to be all dogs bestie
He wants to be everyoneās friend and is very sociable with other dogs.
The home he is in at the moment also has a cat. Knight chased the cat once and the cat has avoided Knight since.
He doesnāt bark and is very inquisitive when interacting with other animals. He calmly watches possums walk along the fence at in the evening.
Food
Heās been eating Premium dry puppy food twice a day and doesnāt appear to have a big appetite. He often leaves some of his food uneaten and will return to it later.yup this is not your typical retriever / lab behavior
Independence
Knight is happy to be left outside in the backyard and spends his days chewing on his toys or treats. He is happy to spend some quiet time snoozing on his bed.
Bathing and Hygiene
Knight was very calm when he was taken to the dog wash for a scrub. He sat quietly and was happy to be washed before having a big shake.
Sleeping
Knight has been sleeping outside in his current foster home. He goes to bed about 10pm and is up when the rest of the house wakes up.
Exercise
Heās been walked once a day and is happy to explore the backyard he currently has.
Inside the home
He loves coming into the house where he knows heāll get treats and cuddles. He can be boisterous at first but quickly calms down once heās familiar with his surroundings. Heās toilet trained and hasnāt had any accidents so far.
He attempted to get up on the couch but quickly understood his boundaries when he was corrected with a quick āNoā!
Ideal home
The ideal home would be a family/ someone who is looking for a faithful companion whoās by your side looking for a tummy rub or cuddle. Heās a playful dog whoās always looking to please. His current home has teenagers in it, but due to his puppy boisterous nature, would be cautious around young children. Heās still a puppy and has a lot to learn, so someone who can provide training and a consistent approach to his development would be ideal.
With this time and training, Knight would be a lovely addition to the right household.
