About Indra
Little Indra has a lovely personality. She is a sweet pup who absolutely loves cuddles. This affectionate little girl’s ideal evening is snuggling up on the couch with her foster carers. Someone may have to break it to her that she won’t always fit in people’s laps as she gets bigger, but we won’t burst her bubble just yet! When it’s play time, Indra is a bouncy and happy puppy. She has an adventurous and curious nature and is generally confident when out and about. Indra is happy to meet strangers, including children, and will lap up the attention she gets from people. You better watch out or she will steal your heart before you can blink!
Indra was born in foster care after her mum (Bellamy) was rescued from the pound heavily pregnant. She has been brought up on a good diet and in an environment where she was exposed to a whole range of sights, sounds and experiences in a positive way – fantastic foundations for her future. We expect Indra to grow into a large sized dog (her mother is around 30kg).
Indra is social with other dogs and even horses. She enjoys playing with doggy friends and would be well suited to a home with another medium to large playful and friendly dog. Rumbles, tug of war, chasies – she will play them all. Indra should continue to be socialised with other dogs as she is growing up and would benefit from regular playdates with friends. She will need daily exercise and mental stimulation to keep her healthy and happy for the rest of her life. Kongs, chews and toys are all good fun for this little girl. Indra enjoys playing in the garden and even uses leaves as toys – it is very adorable.
While in foster care, Indra has progressed really well with her basic training. She can sit, stay, shake and walks well on the leash. As she is still a young pup, her new owners will need to be committed to continuing her training so that she can become the best dog. Indra is food motivated and loves her treats, so this makes her engaged in her training. She is crate trained and sleeps through the whole night in her crate already. At home she knows to use puppy pads or go outside to use the grass. She travels great in the car so will be a fantastic dog to take along on adventures and holidays.
We are looking for someone with experience training medium to large sized dogs and who is looking to live a full life with Indra. She would love a home with another suitable dog but has enough independence to be an only dog as well. Indra should be allowed inside to be with the family and will need a warm comfy bed inside to sleep on at night. She is a well-balanced puppy who will make a wonderful addition to her new family.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
