We believe that lovely little Sasha has had a rough start to life – she came in to our care as stray and unfortunately no one came to reclaim her - so we do not know much about her history at all.
However she is now looking for her new home & hopefully we can find her a perfect match! She is ideally seeking her second chance in a home without other dogs at this stage. She has the potential to interact well with other dogs as she is calm and quite social but she doesn’t enjoy the company of highly active, boisterous dogs as she lacks confidence and will often look for comfort from her handler. Ongoing socialisation training & confidence building will do wonders for this sweet girl.
She loves affection – dubbed our resident cuddle monster, and butt scratches are her favourite! She will happily sit and shake her paw on command and with further ongoing training we are sure that she can add a few more tricks to her repertoire. This gentle lady would be fine with a first time dog owner in a calm and quiet household and is open to meeting children of any age.

Please remember that the pets we have available sometimes come to us with no history, so we do our very best to get to know them while they are here and to match them to your home. Sometimes animals behave differently outside of the shelter environment, so please do keep in touch after adoption so that we can help you settle your new family member in and address any unexpected behaviours.
How much does it cost to adopt?
The adoption fee for dogs covers C3 vaccination, health check, heartworm testing, desexing, micro-chipping, and registration.
The adoption fee for cats covers F3 vaccination, health check, desexing, micro-chipping, and registration.
