About Charlie
Hi guys! My name is Charlie (Sugar Ray Prince) and I’m a student at TAFE SA Gilles plains.
My other nicknames are Charlie or Lord Charlie to some people. I am a fun-loving man that likes going for zoomies or a short walk. I do tire out very quickly at which point I will go for a much-needed nap. Please do not judge the positions I like to sleep in they are very comfortable to me even if they look a bit weird.
I am a happy, lazy, gentle, smart and friendly dog. I enjoy using my brain to solve puzzles, and I use to use it to escape my yard but I haven’t done this in a long time. I am great on walks with other dogs big and small. However off lead I sometimes forget my size when playing. I would enjoy living with another doggy friend (prefer medium to large dog) as I don’t like being left on my own for long periods. But I would cope living without a doggy friend if my humans didn’t leave me for a long time and I had some puzzles to figure out.
When I get excited I can pull on lead but I usually walk well. I could live with children that are aged 8+ as I don’t like small children in my face all the time and need my own space at times. I will still say hello to small children and get some pats. I enjoy meeting new people and love food. I would not be good with cats or pocket pets.
Please consider me for a forever friend as I really want to find someone that I can love and share a bed with.
P.S. fun fact about me I do not have a tail due to an injury, so I can’t whip you with it!
Hope to meet you soon!

Adoption details
All BTG greyhounds are Desexed, C5 Vaccinated, Wormed & Heart Worm treated prior to adoption.
They have been fostered for a minimum of 8 weeks to allow maximum training and preparation for home life.
A post adoption trial period of 4 weeks is available to help families decide if the greyhound is the right one for them.
We also offer Foster to Adopt options for those who love the idea of teaching a greyhound in their home with the view to adopt it once it has "graduated" to Home Life status. This is a wonderful experience, to watch it blossom in your own home with your guidance and love. An ideal way to make sure this is the perfect dog for you.
