Meet the adorable, pocket-Shepherd Ivy!!!

This sweet girl has come such a long way since first coming into our care, she was unsure and scared of the world at first, but she has made so much progress and is one smart cookie!

Ivy is a nature enthusiast and absolutely loves going for long walks with our shelter staff, taking in all the sniffs she can!

Once she feels safe with her person, she is an absolute cuddle-bug who will take all the affection you can give her. She loves to bring you toys as a sign of affection and will play alone with her toys- throwing up in the air and then catching them- which is adorable!

She would do well in a quiet/calm home, away from the hustle of busy roads and would love a backyard that she can do her famous zoomies in (they are pretty spectacular)!

Ivy would do best in a single dog home with only one or two people. She is quite worried about unfamiliar males but with the right person she will make lots of progress with this.

Ivy needs someone who is happy to work with our trainer to slowly transition her into home life.

Ivy is looking for a foster-to-adopt home, to ensure she has some extra support and time to settle into her new environment. She will quickly build a strong relationship with her new person if they can give her all the love and patience, she needs to settle in.
