About Ellie
Hi, my name is Ellie. I love playing with other dogs, zoomies through long grass and a good snuggle with my hoomans.
I enjoy daily adventures out and about, walking, swimming, and off lead time to explore. I walk well on a loose leash and I'm getting better at sit and stay. My recall is improving, sometimes I get distracted by something noisier or smellier.
I've met lots of dogs of all shapes and sizes and play well with all fur-friends of both sexes. I travel great in the car or the back of a ute, though I'm still learning to hop up. I am house trained and I will sit and wait for food. I am really great at settling in my bed at night after a big day of adventures and will sleep through till morning.
I'm still a young girl and will need a family that will continue to socialise me with new people and situations, and keep up with my active nature. I have been staying in a home with free ranging chickens, but foster mum says I show a little too much interest in them to be left unsupervised without some more training.
I'm showing all the signs of being a loyal and faithful companion to someone who will spend time with me and continuing my training. I really do love to run and keep busy all day, so I'd be a great sidekick 'farm companion' on some land or acreage where I could be your best mate and also stretch my legs into top speed zooooomies!
If you're looking for a sweet and active cuddle bug to spend your days with, I'm your girl.
Love and licks Ellie.
Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
