About Sprocket
Meet the gorgeous scruffy hairy maclary boy Sprocket.
At just a year old this absolutely stunning teen has the temperament to simply die for… With his supermodel lanky legs and only weighing 28 kilos although taller and lankier than solid, his stunning grey and white coat and the love oof most things on 4 and 2 legs our amazing boy is certainly one that will fit into most household situations.
Sprocket is a lover of most things and has been in residence with both children and bunnies … He loves the little long eared hoppers ( as seen in pics) and really tried hard to make friends with them.. He is fabulous with other dogs and a mixture of both TV couch potato and olympic runner when stretching his legs
He definitely prefers to be inside when his family are home and is well behaved in the house
PLEASE CHECK YOUR SPAM AND JUNK FOLDERS FOR YOUR APPLICATION FORM TO COMPLETE ONCE YOU HAVE SENT IN YOUR INITIAL ENQUIRY
Favorite Things
Sprocket loves his toys but likes going for walks and running around more, he loves cuddling up on the couch and watching tv. Sprocket loves going for a walk and goes for 3 walks a day,Sprocket loves running around on the grass and loves his big backyard.
Human Interaction
Sprocket loves humans and becomes friends with them almost instantly even if they are a stranger on the street. He is very playful and friendly. Sprocket is still learning his manners as he hasn't been trained 100%
Obedience/Training
Sprocket's foster family have been teaching him how to sit, stop at crosswalks, not to jump on people when seeing them on the street, and how to fetch and go to his bed. He's still learning to do these things straight away and not having his foster family have to repeat themselves but it's still a work in progress. When smelling food sprocket also thinks it's his food and will try and jump on you to get to it so we usually take him out of the room during meals.
Animal Social Skills
Sprocket is currently living with 3 bunnies and has been wanting to play with them, given his size he's not allowed to because he's significantly bigger and may hurt them even if he doesn't mean to. He hasn't shown any aggression to these bunnies and when they have escaped their cages he hasn't chased or tried to attack them. When he sees other animals on walks he wags his tail and never barks at them.
We have tested him with other dogs and he had an absolute ball wrestling and romping around with them.
Hygiene/Toilet
Sprocket is very good when having a bath and loves warm water, he also loves being brushed. Sprocket has never had an accident inside, he always goes to the toilet when he goes outside.
Food
Sprocket is currently eating quality dry kibble. He loves his food and always eats it straight away and has never shown food aggression.
Sleeping.
Sprocket is currently sleeping in either the Laundry or the lounge depending on his mood but he sleeps best in the lounge
