About Henry
Henry is an affectionate gentleman who may be a bit reserved at first but blossoms into a true sweetheart once he trusts you. He'll showcase his charm by gracefully slinking around the house, taking confident strides, and playfully dropping his back end, enticing you to shower him with pats and attention.
One of Henry's favourite pastimes is finding a cosy spot on your lap, and he'll express his affection by circling and preening at your legs before settling in for a cuddle session. When treats are involved, his affectionate side truly shines through, and he'll vocalise his desires with gentle meows and engaging chats until he gets what he wants.
Describing Henry's personality is a joy, as he embodies traits such as gentleness, sociability, and adventurous spirit. He's a friendly and independent cat with a sensitive soul. Henry loves engaging in conversation and will chirp away to alert you if there's a bug in the house. He also enjoys going outside on a harness, where he'll either sit calmly, absorbing the atmosphere or explore his surroundings. His desire to venture outdoors is evident when he stares out the window and meows, letting you know it's time for an outdoor adventure. However, he is content to lounge around indoors if outdoor access is limited.
Henry's favourite things in the world include laps and treats. He relishes a routine and finds comfort in familiar feeding spots, gobbling up his meals eagerly. Throughout the day, Henry spends his time observing bugs and birds, or simply snoozing peacefully.
One of the most endearing qualities about Henry is his quiet and shy nature. When he opens up and shows affection, you'll feel a special connection knowing you've earned his trust. Those who meet Henry often develop a soft spot for him!
Henry's ideal match would be in a calm household with or without older children, preferably as an indoor cat with potentially an outdoor cat run. Henry may need some time to settle into his new home. The Home2Home team is here to provide assistance if needed.
Sadly and with a heavy heart, Henry’s owner is looking to rehome him because of a change of personal circumstances. Henry’s friend Simon is also looking for a new home, and they can be rehomed separately or together. You can find Simon’s listing here → www.petrescue.com.au/listings/977150
Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s owner - the person who knows them best!
It’s a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
From here, the owner will be in touch with you to chat a bit more about their pet, and if they feel your home is the best fit, they will arrange a ‘meet and greet’ for you all to get to know each other.
Should this prove successful, arrangements will be made for the pet to move straight from its current home into yours upon payment of the adoption fee.
The adoption fee is paid directly to PetRescue (via a secure payment link), and assists us to continue to run and develop programs to assist pet owners, just like Home2Home.
Change of Ownership paperwork will be completed, vetwork history will be provided and your new family member will be snuggled on your couch in no time!
