About Gary
MEET GARY!
Gary is approximately 1 year and 3 months old.
Gary was unfortunately surrendered by his owners who could not keep him safe inside (they lived right in the middle of the city!) and as such, he would wander off and get hurt, lost and into mischief. His owners decided to let him find a forever home where he can live as an inside cat (or indoor with a secure outdoor enclosure).
Gary is basically the perfect cat! The day he was dropped off to the foster home was the day he settled in, as if he had lived here his whole life! He is super friendly, affectionate, funny, playful and entertaining.
Gary LOVES to sleep on bed with you and curl up on your lap while you're watching TV or playing games. Gary is happy to be with his people, following you around in the house and will sometimes meow whilst looking for you! He is a real best friend.
Gary currently lives with a number of other foster cats of varying ages and he loves them all! He has never shown any signs of hissing, growling, defensiveness or aggression towards the other kitties, so we are sure he would be happy to share his home with another friendly kitty friend.
Gary is "bomb proof" , he gets along with kids of all ages and isn't afraid of the dog. We are confident he would be an excellent companion for any home!
Enquire about Gary and we will organise a time for a video call meet & greet or an in-person meet & greet (if you are in the area), we are happy to answer any questions and find the purrfect match for Gary!
Gary's video is the day he was brought to the foster home, his photos without his collar on is him now!
Medical notes
Gary is a healthy young adult he is currently being fed a premium quality adult diet - Advance Adult.

Adoption details
Thank you for your interest in a rescue cat! They can make the most wonderful friends and family members.
Our rescue cats have varied histories and stories and as such they each require a different home environment, we ask prospective adopters a series of questions aimed at making the perfect match so please dont be offended when asked questions. We do not adopt to a first in first serve basis and only adopt to the most suitable home possible. If you are outside Ballarat we ask that you make time to have a 30 minute video-chat with us and the kitty you are interested in so we can get to know you a little better and you can see the kitty in its home environment before coming up to Ballarat to adopt, if you are local then we hold a meet and greet at the foster home of the kitty. We only offer video chats and meet and greets to the most suitable homes.
All of our cats at Cat Lovers Ballarat are rehomed as strictly INDOOR ONLY cats and we ask that all prospective adopters only apply if they are capable and comfortable with this.
Please have patience with us as we go through all applications and make our decisions to move onto phase 2 and offer meet and greets, this can take days and sometimes a week to go through, you will be contacted whether you are successful or not.
Thank you again for your interest in one of our rescue cats!
