About Zara
Meet Zara, the perfect sidekick for someone looking for not only a loving dog but also a furry best friend.
Zara is a cuddle bug who loves nothing more than spending quality time with her human. She is incredibly well-behaved having lived in an apartment for the past few months and being completely toilet trained. Zara doesn't bark...unless it's at her own reflection and she isn't overly food driven meaning she won't be begging for scraps at the dinner table. She also understands cues such as her name, sit, paw and “come on” when she’s taking too long sniffing on walks.
She sleeps well through the night and is happy to sleep in the lounge room or on her person's bedroom floor, though she will never say no to jumping onto the bed with you, but she knows she has to have permission. She's also great with being left alone during the day as long as she's had a walk beforehand and has plenty of toys to play with.
Zara loves going for walks and is great on a lead but she can get nervous around other dogs so she isn't suited for dog parks. She's also an excellent traveller and is happy to ride along in the car whether it's to the local café for a puppachino, the pet shop or a trip to Bunnings.
Zara not only comes with all these great qualities dog owners only dream of, but she also comes with a heart wrenching and impressive story of strength and bravery. Zara was mixed in with the wrong crowd and suffered a chopped tail and a bullet to the head, but she doesn’t let this get in the way of her second chance at life. Zara still has the bullet in her head and vets are unable to remove it due to health complications. Vets have advised this doesn’t affect anything in Zara and is sure to live a full healthy life. She has since made a full recovery and is thriving with her foster carer.
While Zara loves attention and will want to be in her person's sight at all times even if she's asleep next to them. Zara would be best suited for someone who works from home a day and who is dedicated to taking her for her routine morning walk which she always looks forward to. A garden would be ideal for Zara so she can let out her zoomies, but has proven not entirely essential as long as she has her other outlets.
Zara has shown her foster carer nothing but love and no challenges along the way.
Some photos she is wearing an E-Collar due to a recent eye infection, but she no longer needs it and has been given the all clear from the vets!
If you're looking for a furry companion who will smother you with love and attention just as much as you will smother them then Zara is the perfect dog for you.
