About Silvette

Silvette 🤍
Introducing Silvette, queen of the most forceful, attention-grabbing head butts!
This little lady is only a tiny thing but when she wants pats and smooches and love, age will force that little head of hers right into you like a battering ram (in the best possible way 😊).
Silvette is a beautiful mature lass of about 6 years.
She was caught in a cat trap by rangers and looks like she's been doing it tough for a while, but is already desexed and was definitely a loved pet once upon a time so we hope she can find a perfect new home soon.
Silvette is so gentle and sweet. She just craves love and affection.
She gets easily startled by loud noises and will try to hide away. Silvette seems to behave as though she could have been hit by someone at some stage and sometimes shies away from you if you come straight at her face; however, once she realises you're no threat she's all back to smooching.
As a result, she's best suited to a home with no young children and with people who can be patient and kind with her always.
She's friendly with other cats and doesn't seem bothered by dogs so can live happily with other pets.
Silvette has now been microchipped and vaccinated as well as desexed. She's FIV and Felv negative.
When she arrived in care, her whole body was covered in tiny cuts and scabs but it became apparent that this was self-inflicted due to her scratching so much because of fleas.
So she'll require her flea treatment to be kept up to date.
Otherwise, she's fit and healthy just a little underweight.
Silvette really deserves to be in a warm and loving home.
Please message the page or email avonvalley@safe.org.au if you can offer Silvette a home
Her adoption fee is just $50!
